In this circular painting I wanted to create a beautiful example of abstract art that plays with shapes and colors to create a visual experience. The composition consists of swirling brushstrokes and vibrant colors, where it looks as if the painter has let the brush dance freely over the canvas.

The use of the circle as a format has a long history in art and can carry many symbolisms, such as wholeness, unity and infinity. In this painting, the fields of color and brush strokes appear to flow from the center outwards towards the edges, which can give a sense of expansion or radiate energy.

The colors are strong and bright, with warm tones of pink, orange and yellow contrasting with cooler shades of blue and green, and the darker lines breaking through to give structure and depth. They can represent a variety of themes or emotions, from passion and joy to harmony and nature.

In an abstract context, the interpretation is open, and this painting can evoke different feelings and thoughts in each individual viewer. Some may see elements of nature, such as flowers or landscapes, while others may perceive a more cosmic or spiritual dimension. The painting invites meditative consideration, where one can dream away in the color compositions and the dynamic forms. The eye can wander around the circle and find new patterns and connections, which means that the artwork can provide new experiences over time. The choice of a circular shape can also point to a cyclical nature, with a focus on movement and change, which is a natural part of life and our experience of the world.

Having art in the house is a joy that enriches everyday life in several ways. Artwork gives the room character and personality, and acts as a visual focal point that can inspire, calm down or stimulate conversation. They are a reflection of the owner's taste and values, and create a more personal and vibrant environment.

Surrounding yourself with art can also have a positive effect on mood and well-being. A colourful, lively painting can energize, while a more toned down and meditative work can be calming and help create a peaceful atmosphere in the home. Art is a source of endless joy, as it can constantly provide new perspectives and insights over time.

In short, art in, for example, the living room is not just decor, but a window to human creativity and a daily reminder of life's beauty and diversity.
